Country of Origin Balloons over Character ?
If someone tells me there is a key for this, im running away :P
It would be nice to have the option to display your Country via a image of a Flag over your character upon
keypress.

"So _______ where are you from anyway?"

So to save you from typing out your country of origin you want a new command/emote put in place for a 'flag' to pop up that indicates where you're from? Not only would this be a waste of time to impliment time that could be used to fix/work on something that has a use this would be pretty much useless; considering that England, Korea, Japan, America, Canada, Germany, etc. wouldn't take that long to actually type out.
Oh and let's not forget that world flags aren't usually most peoples best subject. Which would probably lead to people just asking you what that flag is anyways.

Then it would serve as a educational tool. Who are you speaking on behalf of , in regards to "flags" not being peoples best subject ?
assuming by "subject" your referring to Schooling ?, i never recall a subject called "Flags" when i was schooling, it was commonly referred too as Geography.
Did you commision a private market reasearch company to find these statistics for you ? or could it be perhaps that YOUR best subject is not the ability
to reconise the national flag of a another country. Of course upon reading your avatar, the reasoning for this is self explanitory.
I don't see how it is a waste of time. There was no mention of using a /emote to display the flags, however then was mention of a "KEY PRESS" !
upon which pressing would display the country/flag *COUNTRY written in text , for people like yourself who seemingly cannot reconise a flag!?*
I also don't believe it would be "hard to implement" as you suggest, how about we leave what is/ isn't time consuming or difficult up to the coders ?.
And finally, loose the attitude.

So basically what you said is becoz he's from Canada, he's an idiot?
Or were you under the impression Vancouver is an American city?
Sounds a bit racist to me mate...
Better rephrase that sentence or scrap it all together while you're at it

No actually I wasn't referring to school subjects when I mentioned 'flags' as a subject that people aren't good at. Other such subjects would be Political leaders of the world, or naming third longest river in the world, or name the capital of ___. These are subjects which people are generally unaware of simply because they have no relevance in their day to day lives. Just like 'flags' would not be of any relevance, since most people when asked where they are from do not usually raise a flag in response. But if someone were to show a flag from where they were from would you know what it represented?
Sure the U.S., British, Japanese, Chinese, and/or other G8 Nation flags might get a better correct response rate, but can you name the countries that are associated with these flags without looking them up? Then perhaps you'll see how many images they'll have to add just to save someone from having to type "I'm from Laos" or "I'm from Belarus." And let's not open the can of worms on people who live in regions with political and civil confilct; people that recognize themselves as being part of a different state than the country that is currently in control of their region.
As for my avatar being the reason as to why I think this is just a complete waste of time I have no idea what you're talking about. Perhaps you're grasping at the fact my characters name/avatar is of a Japanese person or maybe it's because I'm in Canada. I really don't know nor do I care. But if I don't think your idea is good and that it's enough of a reason for you to go on, an apparent, racial attack as to assume why I'm 'stupid' then that's your problem. The fact that I think your idea is bad is why I think it's bad, not because of the fact that I'm Japanese and living in Canada.
